Information we collect
Depending on how you use ApplyPilot, we may collect:
- Contact and account information, such as your name, email address, and account credentials.
- Career information, such as resumes, work history, education, skills, preferences, and other details you choose to provide.
- Job and application information, such as roles you review, fit analyses, drafts, decisions, and application status.
- Device, usage, and diagnostic information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
- Communications you send to our support or beta team.
How we use information
We use personal information to provide and personalize ApplyPilot, generate candidate-requested fit insights and drafts, maintain your application history, respond to support, improve reliability, prevent fraud or misuse, and meet legal obligations.
AI-assisted features
When you ask ApplyPilot to analyze a role or create a draft, relevant information may be processed by service providers that help power those features. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. You should review every recommendation and draft before relying on it.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with vendors that provide hosting, security, analytics, communications, and AI processing on our behalf; when you direct us to connect or share with another service; or when required to protect rights, safety, and comply with law. These providers are permitted to process information only for the services they provide to us.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law. You may request deletion through the app when available or by following our account deletion instructions. Some limited records may be retained when legally required or for security and fraud prevention.
Your choices
You may review or correct information through the service, opt out of non-essential marketing emails, and request access to or deletion of personal information. Rights can differ based on where you live.
Security and children
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No system is completely secure. ApplyPilot is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.

We may update this policy as the product develops. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
